The main thing that I do is web video production. But on the off day, when an idea grabs me, I write. Anything from a dystopian future set during a book club, to a disgruntled piece of graffiti in the shape of a clown.
Before I had my own equipment, I had written a short film called The Date. It was about an old man waiting for a date that he should have had during the war.
Award winning, London based director, Lee Hutchings was kind enough to make it for me. Unfortunately a teaser was all that was made due to problems during the shoot and then that age old niggle, time. Having said that, what was made was spot on script wise and was exactly what had been in my head.
