What a difference a year makes...

This time last year, Sale Sharks were 4 games in with no wins.

This year, totally different story. After 4 games they are sitting pretty with 9 points (it took them 4 months to get that last season). Defence is better and the will is there.

Season so far...

Gloucester 16- Sale Sharks 22

Sale Sharks 14- Newcastle Falcons 15

Sale Sharks 26- London Wasps 22

Northampton Saints 33- Sale Sharks 14

All in all, despite a few injuries, things are going really well at Sale so far this season. Long may it continue.

And in other news...

SHARKS UNCOVERED. The Sale Sharks Charity Calendar is in production!

I Love Cosmetics

It was my pleasure to work recently with I Love Cosmetics. A truly Manchester company that now exports to over 50 countries around the world and recently was awarded The Queen's Award for Enterprise International Trade 2013.

I followed Glamour 'New Fragrance' winner Aline and her friend Monique as they had a tour around the I Love powerhouse and put the finishing touches to Aline's new fragrance.

Gloucester 16- Sale Sharks 22

WHAT A START!!

Sale went down to Kingsholm to take on Gloucester. Before even travelling down, critics had us on the back foot with them expecting a Gloucester win.

This was not to be the case.

Sale dominated the first half, letting in one penalty and leading by 11 points. Mark Cueto keeps his record with yet another try. Nothing is holding that guy back!

HT: Gloucester 3- Sale Sharks 14

The second half, Gloucester seem to have woken up... a bit and got the difference in points down to 3 points. But after a drop kick goal from Joe Ford and a epic battle in the dying seconds with a scrum on the Sharks try line with 14 men on the field, the Sharks walked away with the win.

Despite the very vocal and at times abusive Gloucester crowd, the Sharks performed brilliantly and finished the weekend in 5th position in the Aviva Premiership.

Brilliant start!

Next! Newcastle!
