Manchester 7s Festival with Ben Youngs

Bthere Events put on the Manchester Rugby 7s and Lacrosse 8s festival last weekend and despite the weather on the Saturday everyone had a brilliant time!

There was such a mixed bunch of people, even some lacrosse players from Tel Aviv! The party feeling was well and truly with everyone. I even got to meet British and Irish Lion, Ben Youngs! A lovely chap who was very kind in talking to everyone that came to see him.

The Date... a while ago...

The main thing that I do is web video production. But on the off day, when an idea grabs me, I write. Anything from a dystopian future set during a book club, to a disgruntled piece of graffiti in the shape of a clown. 

Before I had my own equipment, I had written a short film called The Date. It was about an old man waiting for a date that he should have had during the war. 

Award winning, London based director, Lee Hutchings was kind enough to make it for me. Unfortunately a teaser was all that was made due to problems during the shoot and then that age old niggle, time. Having said that, what was made was spot on script wise and was exactly what had been in my head.

Manchester 7s Festival THIS WEEKEND!

 This weekend sees the Manchester 7s hit its 6th year of rugby madness. I'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday to capture the fun, the interviews and general merriment . For the past months I have been working with Bthere Events in producing videos to wetten the appetites of all you Rugby Diehards.

Sale Sharks

I have been enjoying myself for the past week in the Emerald Isle to come back to a new Sale Sharks website layout. 

The video playlist for the club is now in the top half of the website. Hopefully allowing more people to get a look behind the scenes and get to know their favourite players.

Next season is looking good already and pre season videos are on the cards, so keep an eye out!

The Talent of SAFEgorton

I was asked to create a number of videos showing the SAFEgorton project. This project is very special. It's transformed a community and hardened the links and spirit within it.

It's HQ is at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Gorton, its an all inclusive initiative, regardless of faith.

Sale have their last game of the season this Saturday 4th May at Salford City Stadium. Massively looking forward to it. Atmosphere will be top!
